We follow a specific process from the first time we meet with the client right through to the site going live and post-design maintenance. This allows us to consult with the client throughout the project lifecycle. It also means that we can ensure every aspect of your site is addressed in the proper order.

Stage 1: Initial Consultancy

When you decide to contact us, we will arrange to meet you in order to better understand your requirements. We will also need to find out about your industry and your business, such as the products/services that you provide. The more information we receive, the better able we are to produce an accurate assessment of your needs. We will also check to ensure that your domain of choice is available.

Stage 2: Initial Proposal

Based on the information we have from the consultancy, we will create a document listing our recommendation for your website along with a breakdown of costs for the project. At this stage we can make refinements to the proposal to suit the client's needs. If the client is hosting their website with us, their domain of choice is registered and hosting is configured.

Stage 3: Template Design

Once a proposal has been agreed on, we will produce a template which will show the layout of the content on the website, taking into account the client's preferences and industry standards. The client can make changes to the design accordingly.

Stage 4: Back-end Development

Where appropriate, any back-end work is completed at this stage. Such back-end work could include a news/weblog system or an e-commerce.

Stage 5: Finalise Design & Development

At this stage, the agreed upon template is combined with any back-end development. The content for the website is also acquired from the client to produce the complete site.

Stage 6: Testing & Live Release

The completed site is tested across varying platforms and browser types to ensure that it will look the same to as many visitors as possible. Once the site is verified, it is made 'live' and will be available at the client's chosen domain.

Stage 7: Maintenance

Even though the site is completed and is live, we will continue to monitor the site to ensure it is performing correctly. Statistics will also be made available to the client to allow them to track the success of their website.
